Run for the Senate

November 19, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Minnesota is having to recount their ballots for a seat in the Senate.  Incumbent Republican Norm Coleman and Democratic challenger Al Franken are having a close run, with less than one percent between them Coleman is ahead currently.  During their campaigns, both had attack ads running and exchanged harsh words which makes this recount all the more important.  With all the problems of a recount, some say that some of the rejected absentee ballots should also be counted.  This is a very close run for the state of Minnesota.
